Paul Watson has it very hard these days. He's trying very hard to spoil the good name, that the Faroese people have - by telling all kinds of LIES on his Facebook and other medias.
There is one website, that he is promoting on his website, called visitTHEfaroeislands.com. There you can see, that faroese people harvest Pilot Whales, but if you really want to see the whole truth - then you should visit the countries real website called visitfaroeislands.com.
On the website, that Paul Watson is promoting on his facebook - faroese people are compared to ISIS. Is it fair - just because we harvest a few sustainable Pilot Whales a year - to be compared with ISIS, a terrorist organisation - just because the people of Faroe Islands like all kinds of meat (we also eat birds meat, sheep meat etc.)..? We do not impose our food traditions on anyone else, and we respect the choice of other people to become vegans or vegetarians. The people from Sea Shepherd tell proudly the world, that they are vegan - well, good on you - do every single species on earth have to become vegan, just because you are ..?

In Spain, they kill a bull for entertainment and in France, the current home of Paul Watson (they have not banned him yet)- they like Foie gras - a most cruel way for an animal to live and die. And in the Faroe Islands - we like Pilot Whales.
But the fact is also, that we are nature folks from 18 beautiful small islands, that compined are called: Faroe Islands. Another fact is also - that we are loving people with almost no crime and we don't spread propaganda lies about other countries - like Sea Shepherd is doing to us on a regular basic.
The people from Sea Shepherd don't seem to care - if their name callings hurt other peaceful nations, rather it's one of their main purpose. Maybe it's because that Watson has too a big of voice in Sea Shepherd still - because the man has no manners - is very thick-headed and seems to look blindfolded at the truth.
When you look at the remarks, that people write on Watson's Facebook wall - you can clearly see, that these people are dangerous people - that wouldn't have a problem killing a human beiing - just because that human lives on what nature provides to them. It makes me kinda sad, that people that clearly don't know us - are the same who judge us.
How can you judge an entire nation, when you know nothing at all about us ..? If you want to know the truth about us - then you have to come for a visit and see for yourself.
Yes, it is indeed a peaceful nation and we are proud Faroese people with some old traditions - like some of the Indian nations, that Watson himself visits sometimes - that harvest some buffalo meat.
We don't try to hide it from the rest of the world that we do harvest the Pilot Whales - but I would also like to tell the world, that the harvest goes very quickly, humane (it takes about 2 seconds for the whale to die) and that we wouldn't harvest the pilot whale - if they were not sustainable, since we like to live in harmony with the nature. As I said - we are peaceful nature folk and we live from what the nature provides to us.
This year - Sea Shepherd won't come to Faroe Islands (maybe because it cost too much in legal battles), but they have told the world - that they will do everything they can to ruin our good name.
And thus - I will continue to fight against Sea Shepherd, by writing and drawing informative Anti Sea Shepherd comic's and fight for my country.
