3. What did Sea Shepherd pay for you ..?
What do you mean with this question? SS payed nothing for us! Even the clothes we had to wear during the campaign, we had to pay for ourselves. Just the housing and the fuel during the outbound and during our staying in the Faroe Islands. But when we went back to our home in Belgium, we had to pay again ourselves. We brought a lot of food with us from Belgium, but we payed for it ourselves. They weren't interested to do some fundraising to support us. We did it all ourselves. But we thought that wasn't bad, we didn't want to profit of this situation. We made the choice to go to the Faroe Islands, so we payed for it.
4. Did Paul Watson ever TALK to the Landcrew - while you were in the Faroe Islands ..?
No never, everything he 'said' was by e-mail and it wasn't always that friendly. We were there for 5 weeks and we got e-mailed only a few times. He never answered to us, it was always directed to the head of SS, like Rosie or Lamya ... He once interfered by e-mail in a strong discussion between Rosie and Lamya. So, when it comes to the point he is the big boss . But he has no contact with 'normal' volunteers. We believe that Rosie and Lamya and every other important person within SS was payed by the organization to be there ... They pay a lot of people, but won't come out with that kind of information in the out and open ..!
To be continued ...
