Paul Watson is a desperate fellow and he always needs money (just read his posts on Facebook - it's hilarious). This is the thanks his supporters get from him - after donating: "My donation of 520 Euros has taken the appeal to 51% and put the fund over the 100,000.00 Euro mark. We now have raised 100,409.00 Euros. And with only 3,161 contributors. Now I know that not everyone can afford to make a donation but there are 602,000 followers on this page. Sooooooo..........?"
Now - Sea Shepherd got a huge sum this year (8,3 million euros) from a Dutch Postcode Lottery and it seems Sea Shepherd has used it all up. But where did all the money go, Sea Shepherd ?!? You should always save some - for a rainy day, Sea Shepherd !!!
You don't pay people on land - and people onboard your vessel only eat gras without pay. The people that work for Sea Shepherd dosen't get anything - yet they always need money. Money. Money. Money ...
Yet - now they need 200.000 euros for some smallboats - they have lost, because they didn't follow the faroese law. The boats aren't stolen, Mr. Watson. The boats are confiscated by the faroese Police and if only you guy's would behave in Faroe Islands - you would'nt have this "problem".
But my quess is - that you always need money. Nothing that you do - you do for free. There is always something, that you need the money for and as soon as you get some - you piss it all away. So you gotta be careful - if you want to support Sea Shepherd, my friend and think about sending your money elsewere, because as I said - you might not see any kind of action from a broke Sea Shepherd in the near future!
