All of the Sea Shepherds rustbuckets have left the Faroe Islands (look at Marine Traffic picture below) - maybe due to the harsh weather, as many of the new volunteers easily get seasick. We have also learn that the captains on both vessel don't respect the sea law and it's unsafe for the crew on the both Bob Barker and Sam Simon to be in them.
Sea Shepherd Supports Faroe Islands
Landcrew ( over 100 volunteers) has paid over 600.000,00 danish kroners to get to Faroe Islands by plane - so faroese tourism is blooming once again - thanks to the Sea Shepherd. Records also show - that Sea Shepherd landcrew has used a lot of car rentals and houses and they have been in the Faroe haven't been cheap. So we are talking atleast one million danish kroners, that Sea Shepherd has paid to the faroese people - and we thank you for that, Sea Shepherd. And then Sea Shepherd also needs to pay up to Faroese government for all the big fines - they have been given for unlawfully interfering with the whaling ... to know more about whaling - go to: www.whaling.fo.

As you all know - we haven't kill many Pilot Whales this year - but when we had Grind - Sea Shepherd did not do anything. They have tried - but failed. They have lost 4 fast smallboats and 12 Sea Shepherd members have been arrested. Yes, it has been some kind of amusing for the faroese people and the faroese police has done one hell of a job protecting faroese citizens from those terrorist.
They will maybe try again next year - but doubt it. It costs too much and Paul Watson dosen't like when they loose money.

But if you are in doubt - so have a visit to Faroe Islands. We welcome everybody - and if you want to know more about our beautiful islands - just go to: www.visitfaroeislands.com. If you want to know the real truth about whaling - please go to: www.whaling.fo. And if you want a laugh and ½ - please go to: www.nordportal.net/jokes.
And as for the Anti Sea Shepherd cartoons - they will NOT stop now. It's time - that we faroese people also help our good friends of Japan and that is what I intend to do.
